Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, I dedicated over 20 years to military service where I responded to 9/11 by leading combat missions in Iraq. Retiring as an Army Officer, I'm known for unwavering dedication and leadership. As a Drill Sergeant, I trained future leaders before excelling as an engineer officer in the Arizona Army National Guard.
In Arizona, I commanded Soldiers, earned a Master's in Public Administration, and chaired the Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission. Transitioning to civilian life, I contributed to the City of Surprise's growth plan as an International City/County Managers Association Fellow. Currently, as the Safety Coordinator for Dysart Unified School District, I ensure K-12 education's highest safety standards.
